Self-guided tours are always available, guided tours are
available with advance reservation. Start in the museum,
with exhibits on the defensive forts surrounding
Washington and a model of Fort Ward when it was active,
then tour the fort itself, with the reconstructed
Officers' Hut, bombproof, and North Bastion, complete
with cannon |
