Truly a hands on place, there are three
"programs" -- Timucuan Indian pre-European,
Spanish Colonial (1565-1763) and "Florida
Cracker" (1821-1926) Each has at least a half
dozen activities for visitors to participate in, from
smashing shells for tabby to sugar cane grinding to
dugout canoe making. |
