| What kind of visit you can have:
Once a summer playground for the richest families in
America, Jekyll Island is now part of a seacoast resort
area. The 100 acre historic district contains 33
original buildings and a visitor center in what was once
the stables, with a video of the area's history.
There are tram tours and self guided or guided walking
tours available. The Clubhouse is now a hotel. |
