tours of the lock and dam are available weekends in
summer, observation deck available all year.
Exhibits at the center focus on the building of the
Illinois Waterway, which succeeded the I&M
Canal. Make this part of a trip down the Heritage
Corridor, or stop at the park across the
River. |
