Creek Station State Historic Park

Description: Originally built in 1857, it
evolved into a road ranch on the Oregon Trail, and
was used as a stagecoach station and Pony Express swing station, as
well as the location of a toll bridge. This was
the site of a fight that began the legend of "Wild
Bill" Hickok. Now there is an interpretive center
and work is underway to reconstruct buildings and corrals.
