As you may have noticed, Step Into History does not accept banner advertising or pop-up advertisements, either paid or as part of exchanges.

We do accept static advertisements, although, to keep our download times as short as possible,  we do not allow the display of logos or other graphic images on the index, state, or location pages.  We can create a linked page for any historic location, lodging, or other facility which will include logos and pictures.  Please contact us for rates, etc. 

B&B & Other Lodging proprietors:  Because we offer visitors to our site the opportunity to make reservations, for which we receive compensation, we limit our listings of accommodations to address and local phone number only. 

   If you are listed with one of those services, let us know and we can "deep link" to the booking service directly to your property right under your phone number at no charge.

   If you are not, we offer an expanded listing:
       For $15, we will list an 800 number, fax number, e-mail and URL for your facility, plus up to 50 words       describing your property and what it has to offer.
 
   For now, listings will be for an unlimited period for the one-time fee. 

   As of February, 2004 Step Into History consistently attracts more than 1,400 visitors a day to our site.  We have been online since 1991, and our 2003 holiday season was the first in which daily visits did not show a significant decrease, signifying (to us) that our audience is

As a bonus, when we get the third member site of the Step Into family underway,  Step Into Old Towns, and your property is in one to the towns selected, you will receive a listing at no additional charge on that site as well.  (our original goal was 2003, but we were sidetracked by a number of projects to improve our existing sister site www.stepintoplaces.com, which is growing by leaps and bounds)
