Step Into History respects the privacy of our visitors. We do not
use cookies. We do not collect information about our visitors or
sell information to anyone. This sometimes means that when
you contact us, we have to ask you what page you were looking at
We will be using software to track the movement of visitors, so we can know
where they come from, (which search engine, linked site, etc.) how
they move around this site, what they search for, and where they
go from here. This is done to judge the effectiveness of various
aspects of running this site, so we can make corrections to help
you find what you want more easily and quickly.
We do require the name and e-mail address of anyone who posts a
message on one of our message boards or event calendars. This is
for purposes of preventing malicious postings and for screening
out inappropriate commercial postings.. This information is not
used to assemble e-mail lists and the e-mail addresses are not
posted with the messages, unless requested in the body of the
message (e.g., the poster is a contact person for an event or place)
These policies are subject to change. Two weeks' notice will
be given in bold text on the What's New area of the home page before any substantive
changes are made in these policies.
It should be noted that Step Into History does not control the cookie
and privacy policies of the companies we have affiliated with. You
